TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Terms and Conditions for Greene King St. Patrick’s Day 2023 Promotion (the “Promotion”)
These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions and by the decision of the Promoter, which is final in all matters relating to the promotion. Please retain a copy for your information.
1. Promoter: Pernod Ricard UK Limited, Building 7 Chiswick Park, 566 Chiswick High Road, London W4 5YG. Please do not send entries to this address.
2. Eligibility: Promotion open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) aged 18 years and over, except employees and families of the Promoter and its affiliate companies, agencies and anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
3. Entry Period: The Entry Period shall begin at 00:01am 3 March 2023 and close at 23:59pm on 31 March 2023.
4. Entry Instructions:
4.1 There are two pathways in which to access the entry page during the Entry Period:
a) For Greene King newsletter recipients, enter the Promotion by clicking on the link in the email sent by Greene King, promoting the Jameson giveaway and Jameson Bow Street Distillery trip prize draw; or
b) Enter the Promotion by clicking the link on selected Greene King brands’ social media posts during the Entry Period, promoting the Jameson giveaway and the Trip Prize, Merch Prize and Product Prize draws.
4.2 You must provide certain personal information and consent to receive marketing communications from Jameson in order to enter the Promotion and competition for the Prizes (as defined at paragraph 9).
4.3 You will also be asked whether you wish to receive marketing emails containing special offers from Greene King and its family of brands. Your consent to receive such marketing communications is not mandatory in order to enter the Promotion. Any consent you provide to receive such marketing communications may be withdrawn by you at any time.
5. Free Drink Promotion:
5.1 Following entry of your consent and personal data in accordance with paragraph 4.2, you will receive a voucher which shall entitle you to one free drink at participating Greene King venues located in the UK, in accordance with the specific terms set out in paragraph 5.2
5.2 Greene King Ts & Cs for drink redemption:
Please show you voucher to your server to redeem the offer. UK residents only, aged 18+. This voucher entitles you to one free single measure of Jameson Irish Whiskey or Jameson Orange Irish Whiskey served with 200ml Schweppes Ginger Ale or 200ml Schweppes Lemonade. Alternatively, you can choose a soft drink of a regular glass of draught Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Diet Coke or Schweppes Lemonade. Valid from Friday 3rd March – Sunday 16th April 2023, during the pub’s regular opening hours. This voucher can only be used once at participating pubs and must be presented when placing your order for your free drink. This voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, including Greene King employee vouchers or Greene King friend & family vouchers. No more than one Jameson free drink voucher may be used in one session. This offer is subject to availability while stocks last and the manager reserves the right to cancel, amend or withdraw this offer at any time. No cash alternative. This voucher is not transferable. 6. Jameson Distillery Trip Prize:
6.1 Following entry, you will also be automatically entered into a prize draw in order to win a trip for two (2) people to Dublin, including a tour at the Jameson Bow Street Distillery (the “Trip Prize”).
6.2 The winner of the Trip Prize (the “Trip Winner”) will be chosen by the Promoter via a randomized computer process shortly after the Entry Period has closed..
6.3 A member of the verification team will then contact the Trip Winner via email in order to verify their age and organize the different elements of the Trip Prize. The Trip Winner’s guest that will accompany the Trip Winner to Dublin as part of the Trip Prize must also be over eighteen (18) years old.
6.4 As part of the Trip Prize, the Promoter will cover the costs of return flights for two (2) people from the airport closest to where the Trip Winner lives to Dublin, accommodation for one (1) night at a hotel or apartment in Dublin selected by the Promoter and two (2) tickets for the Jameson Bow Street distillery tour. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promoter shall not be responsible for any expense which is not specifically included in the Trip Prize including, without limitation, meals, personal expenses, insurance and travel expenses in connection with the Trip Prize.
7. Jameson Merchandise Prizes:
7.1 Following entry, you will also be also be will also be automatically entered into an additional prize draw in order to win the following Jameson merchandise:
• One (1) Jameson t-shirt;
• One (1) Jameson jumper/sweater;
• One (1) Jameson cap; and
• One (1) pair of Jameson socks, (the “Merch Prize”).
7.2 The winners of the Merch Prize (the “Merch Winners”) will be chosen by the Promoter via a randomized computer process after the Trip Prize has been selected. There shall be a total of thirty (30) Merch Winners who will each win a Merch Prize.
7.3 A member of the verification team will then contact the Merch Winners via email in order to verify their age and organize delivery of the Merch Prizes.
8. Jameson Product Prizes:
8.1 Following entry, you will also be also be will also be automatically entered into an additional prize draw in order to win one (1) 70cl bottle of Jameson (the “Product Prize”).
8.2 The winners of the Product Prize (the “Product Winners”) will be chosen by the Promoter via a randomized computer process after the Trip Winner and Merch Winners have been selected. There shall be a total of thirty (30) Product Winners who will each win a Product Prize.
8.3 A member of the verification team will then contact the Product Winners via email in order to verify their age and organize delivery of the Product Prizes.
9. General:
“Prizes” shall include Trip Prize, Merch Prizes and Product Prizes and “Winners” shall include Trip Winner, Merch Winners and Product Winners.
9.1 The promoter accepts no responsibility for entries or Prizes claims that are lost, delayed or damaged for any reason whatsoever.
9.2 Incomplete entries/claims or those not in accordance with the entry/claim instructions will not be accepted.
9.3 Winners’ surname and county will be made available upon request. Full name and county will be made available to the ASA or any other competent body upon request.
9.4 The Prizes are non-transferable and no cash (or date) alternative is available. However, the Promoter reserves the right to award similar alternative prizes of equal or greater value in the event of circumstances outside of its control.
9.5 You agree that, to the extent permissible by law, the Promoter and its affiliates, agents assume no liability for injuries, losses or damages or any kind to property or persons, including without limitation death, resulting in whole or part, directly or indirectly, from the management of or mechanics behind the promotion, entry into the promotion, the acceptance of the Prizes, and any acts or omissions of the companions, winner.
9.6 In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of Prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
9.7 The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entries/claims that it reasonably believes to be fraudulent or based on misconduct.
9.8 By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Promoter, which is also the Data Controller, for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.
9.9 The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for address, age and identity details (which they must provide within 14 days) and to refuse to award a Prize or withdraw Prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation this clause.
9.10 Personal data which is provided by entrants on entering the Promotion will be processed and stored in a database by the Promoter for the purpose of managing entry into the Promotion. By providing personal information, entrants consent to the processing and storage of personal information by the Promoter for this purpose. Consents can be withdrawn or amended at any time by emailing ukconsumerfeedback@pernod-ricard.com. If an entrant withdraws consent to the storage and processing of their data for the purposes of administering the Promotion, they will also be withdrawn from the Promotion itself. 9.11 Once the Prizes have been administered, all personal data will be deleted unless specific consent has been given for the Promoter to send further communications.
9.12 This promotion and these terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh Courts.
