TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR JAMESON’S CARABAO CUP FINAL TICKET GIVEAWAY
Terms and Conditions for Carabao Cup Final 2025 Jameson Connects Promotion (the “Promotion”)
These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions and by the decision of the Promoter, which is final in all matters relating to the promotion. Please retain a copy for your information.
- Promoter: Pernod Ricard UK Limited, Building 7 Chiswick Park, 566 Chiswick High Road, London W4 5YG. Please do not send entries to this address.
- Eligibility: Promotion open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) aged 18 years and over, except employees and families of the Promoter and its affiliate companies, agencies and anyone professionally connected with the promotion. Excludes residents of the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
- Promotional Period: The Promotional Period shall begin at 13:00pm GMT on 6 February 2025 and close at 23:59pm GMT on 18 February 2025.
- Entry Instructions: To enter the Promotion, sign up or log in to Jameson Connects and fill in the entry form on the competition entry page.
- Prizes: There is one (1) prize to be won. The prize is two (2) General Admission Tickets to the Carabao Cup Final, due to take place on Sunday, 16th March 2025 at Wembley Stadium, London. Please also refer to the EFL Terms at the Schedule to this document which shall apply in relation to the redemption of the Prize and attendance at the Carabao Cup Final.
- Winner selection:
6.1: Every participant who enters the Promotion during the Promotional Period will be entered into a draw for a chance to win the Prize. At the end of the Promotional Period, one (1) Winner of the Prize will be chosen by the Promoter from all entrants by a randomized computer process (the “Winner”). A member of the Promoter’s team will then contact the Winner’s via the Jameson.UK@pernod-ricard.com email in order to verify their age and confirm prize information.
6.2: The Winner shall have a period of three (3) days in order to reply to the Promoter’s notification email in order to claim the prize. Should the Winner fail to reply within this three (3) day period, it shall be deemed that they have forfeited the prize and the Promoter shall select an alternative Winner using the same process as was used to select the original Winner.
- The Winner:
7.1: The following details are required from the Winner and from whom will be using the tickets to the Carabao Cup Final 2025: Name, Date of Birth, Email Address, Home Address (including postcode & supporting team). The Winner and their guest will be sat in the end of their supporting team.
7.2: Winners must be aged 18 and, and their guest must be 17 and over or accompanied by an adult.
7.3: Notwithstanding any other terms and conditions of this competition (including all terms and conditions the Football League Limited Conditions of Issue as well as the relevant Ground Regulations in force at the venue), no refunds or any other monetary compensation will be paid in relation to any Ticket that a Winner has won in this competition where any Match is rescheduled, postponed, delayed or cancelled (for whatever reason).
7.4: The Winner and their guest attending a venue to enjoy their prize must also comply with all policies, rules and reasonable instructions provided by the EFL, venue operators and/or any authority at the venue. The EFL, the relevant venue operators and authorities reserve the right to remove any entrant or Winner (and/or their permitted guests) for failing to comply with those policies, rules or instructions or otherwise behaving in an inappropriate manner.
7.5: The EFL will be provided with information (including name and address) of the competition Winner for prize administration and databases will be checked against any club banning orders as well as the National Police database for those who may be subject to a court banning order. The EFL will not otherwise use Winners’ personal details for reasons other than the above, unless lawfully permitted to do so. Winners are responsible for the behaviour of their guests.
7.6: Entrance to this competition constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions and all terms and conditions of the Football League Limited Conditions of Issue as well as the Wembley National Stadium Ground Regulations. Both of these documents can be found at www.efl.com/ticketconditions. Winners must abide by those terms at all times. The promotor or the EFL accepts no responsibility if the Winner and/or the Winner’s guest are denied entry or asked to leave the match for failure to abide by such terms, any applicable law or regulation or because of their inappropriate behaviour.
7.7: Tickets will be available for match day collection from Wembley Stadium and the Winner must provide photo ID, or the Tickets will not be released.
7.8: The prize is not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Under no circumstances can this prize be transferred to a third party of sold for any financial amount.
8. General: The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries or prize claims that are lost, delayed or damaged for any reason whatsoever.
9. Incomplete entries/claims or those not in accordance with the entry/claim instructions will not be accepted.
10. Winners’ surnames and counties will be made available upon request. Full names and counties will be made available to the ASA or any other competent body upon request.
11. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash or date alternative is available. However, the Promoter reserves the right to award similar alternative prizes of equal or greater value in the event of circumstances outside of its control.
12. You agree that, to the extent permissible by law, the Promoter and its affiliates, agents assume no liability for injuries, losses or damages or any kind to property or persons, including without limitation death, resulting in whole or part, directly or indirectly, from the management of or mechanics behind the promotion, entry into the promotion, the acceptance of the prize, and any acts or omissions of the companions, winner.
13. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entries/claims that it reasonably believes to be fraudulent or based on misconduct.
15. By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Promoter, which is also the Data Controller, for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for address, age and identity details (which they must provide within 14 days) and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation this clause.
17. Personal data which is provided by entrants on entering the Promotion will be processed and stored in a database by the Promoter for the purpose of managing entry into the Promotion.
18. Once all Prizes have been administered, all personal data will be deleted unless specific consent has been given for the Promoter to send further communications.
19. This promotion and these terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
Schedule
EFL Terms
- The winner of any prize which includes tickets is not permitted, by virtue of Section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1998 to sell or otherwise dispose of the tickets to any other third party whatsoever, unless agreed by the event organiser in writing.
- The prize is for the applicable EFL League match tickets only and does not include any other facilities of expenses whatsoever, such as (by way of example and all of which are the responsibility of the winner and/or their guest(s)) the following: (2.1) travel to or from the venues and associated charges; (2.2) accommodation; (2.3) travel insurance; (2.4) tips, gratuities, room service, drinks or meals; and (2.5) any other costs associated with the trip.
- Ticket collection details will be provided by the promoter. Tickets will be available for collection on match day only. Tickets may only be collected by the winner and photographic ID (passport / driving license / national ID card) will be required at the point of collection.
- The following details are required from each winner: Name, date of birth, email address, home address including postcode and supporting team.
- The EFL will be notified of the identity of ticket winners and their guest(s), and databases will be checked against any Club Banning Orders, as well as the National Police Database for those who may be subject to a Court Banning Order. Any persons found subject to a club or court banning order are not eligible to enter this competition or claim the prize. If a winner’s guest(s) is subject to a club banning order or court banning order then they are not eligible for the prize, and the winner will need to identify a different guest(s). The EFL will not otherwise use winners’ personal details for reasons other than the above, unless lawfully permitted to do so. Winners are responsible for the behaviour of their guests.
- The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes. The promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of its choosing which has a value the same or greater than the original prize, in the event of circumstances outside its control making the prize unavailable. The prize may be subject to availability and change where expressly stated.
- Name changes are not permitted, unless expressly agreed in writing (at the sole discretion of the EFL) on a case by case basis.
- Winners will be bound by any additional terms, policies,rules and reasonable instructions provided by the EFL, , the relevant venue operators and/or any authority at the venue. The EFL (including, amongst other things any terms of issue associated with tickets, applicable ground regulations and other policies applicable to visitors at the venue or event). The promoter, event organiser or stadium operators reserve the right to refuse entry and/or require winners and/or their guest(s) to leave the venue should the winner or guest(s) not comply with these terms, rules or policies, any applicable law or regulation or other reasonable directions or the promoter, event organiser or stadium operators, or because of winners or guest(s) inappropriate behaviour. Winners are responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guest(s) whilst taking the Prize.
- No guarantees can be given that any match will take place at a particular time or on a particular date. The event organiser reserves the right to reschedule any match without notice and without any liability whatsoever.
- Entrants acknowledge and agree that the ability to receive the prize may be prevented, limited or interfered with by unforeseen events outside of the reasonable control of the promoter, EFL and/or venue, which may result in (amongst other things) matches being postponed, cancelled, played behind closed doors, reduced capacity crowds, or entry requirements imposed by a competent authority. Neither the promoter, EFL or venue shall be liable or responsible if any unforeseen events prevent, limit or interfere with the winner making use of the ticket or attending the match and in the event winners cannot make use of ticket(s) to attend any match the Promoter will determine in its sole discretion whether it will grant an alternative prize.
- Winners are solely responsible to have all necessary information and documents in order to comply with any requirements relating to entry to the stadium or venue. Winners must also comply with any other policies, guidance and instructions which may be provided to you by the EFL and/or venue as applicable and may be updated from time to time, in relation to attendance at the match or event.
- The winners will be expected to comply with any third- party terms and conditions that form part of the prize, including but not limited to conditions of the EFL along with the stadium ground regulations. Entrance to this competition constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions of the EFL and Wembley National Stadium.
- If a winner and/or their guest(s) has any special accessibility requirements, the winner will need to make the promoter aware of this as soon as the winner has won a pair of tickets. In some instances, notice of accessible seating may only be available at short notice. If wheelchair spaces are available, these will be offered on a first-come first -served basis.
- This is not a promotion of the EFL, any clubs or their respective group companies nor is there any liability or contractual obligation owed to prize winners by the EFL, clubs or respective group companies relating to the operation of this promotion (save only in relation to any applicable conditions of issue for tickets and/or stadium regulations).
- By submitting your personal information when entering the prize draw, you acknowledge the promoter may disclose that information to the event organiser (EFL), venue host and/or the relevant football club(s) playing in the match to which the prize relate for the purpose of verifying your eligibility for any prize and or administering delivery of the prize.
- Any personal data relating to entrants will be kept securely and used solely for the purposes of administering this promotion and/or prize fulfilment by the promoter, EFL, clubs playing in the match to which the prize relate and/or by any agent of the promoter or EFL appointed to assist with running the promotion or administering the prize. Further information about the EFL’s use of personal data generally can be found in the EFL privacy notice at https://www.efl.com/efl-privacy-notice you must bring this to the attention of any guest(s) you may nominate. Use of your personal information will not include sending you electronic marketing communications unless you have opted in to receive such communications (and you are free to unsubscribe from these communications at any time in the future).
