Introducing Jameson Connects FC
We’re the official whiskey partner of the English Football League (EFL) and as part of this partnership, we’re proud to introduce you to Connects FC; an initiative we’ve designed to leverage the transformative power of football and create a community of like-minded people, spanning multiple generations.
At Jameson, we’re all about enjoying life and bringing people together. Through our partnership with the EFL, we’ll be running a series of vibrant and passionate events in the heart of football communities up and down the country. Whether it’s meeting a club legend, enjoying a behind-the-scenes stadium tour, participating in an away-day watch-party, or simply meeting down your local club to have a coffee and swap stories about the game or club you love, Jameson is opening the doors to anyway who fancies it. At Connects FC, everyone is welcome.
Making an impact at a local level
To launch this new and exciting initiative, we’re proud to team up with football charity, the EFL Trust. We’ll make a donation of £2,500 to each EFL club who participate in the Connects FC programme. The fund is in place to support and empower these clubs to run further community outreach programmes and events that bring people together. We’ll continue to push to make a difference with as many fans as we possibly can. Ultimately, at Jameson, we share the same passion for the game, and we want to harness this to make an impact in communities.
Clinton Morrison signs for Connects FC
The transfer window might be closed, but not for Connects FC! We’re thrilled to welcome a new ambassador and EFL legend, Clinton Morrison, who will be supporting the programme by joining the team. He will jump into the thick of it by mingling with fans, stirring up banter, fostering connections and sharing his own personal stories about the beautiful game.
The story so far
We ran our first Connects FC event at Gillingham FC, where lovers of the game shared stories and connected over a morning tea. You can see how our first event came to life and find out more about the programme in the video above.
