Anderson will be joining forces with our family of local musicians from around the world, to help them distil their sounds, connect and collaborate. The transition from local legend to global superstar has never been so smooth!

Q & A with Anderson .Paak
1. What led you to want to work with Jameson on Distilled Sounds?
I’ve never been part of a programme like this before. Jameson has a real ambition to shift the music industry from what we know it as, to something that I think we need more of. From my experience, the best music comes from real life connections so I’m excited to help bring all of these amazing artists together.
2. Would you say this is what artists need right now?
100%, if I was an artist in my early career then I would love to be part of a programme like this. I only started to connect with other artists when I started touring, which can take a while in an early musician’s career, so it’s amazing that these artists have the opportunity to learn from each other in one place.
3. What was the creative thinking behind the programme?
Jameson and I wanted to create a place where artists from all over the world could feel comfortable enough to create and mix with each other. We’re hoping that with these new connections, from different backgrounds, will create new sounds.
4. What excites you the most about the programme?
Good question! I’d say meeting all of the global artists and seeing what they all bring from their different countries. I’m hoping that as much as I can inspire these artists, they can also inspire me!
5. What would you say to anyone hoping to be a part of the programme?
Whether you’re at home, in the studio or at our Sound Distillery you will always be a part of Distilled Sounds – it’s a family IRL and online that is going to GROW. So stay tuned. Jameson Distilled Sounds might be coming to a city near you!
